Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin transport across Europe
Factory pickup from Maranello, Sant'Agata, and Gaydon. Enclosed transport of premium supercars with attention to carbon, wings, and a low chassis.
The European supercar scene plays out in a few specific cities. Maranello, Sant'Agata Bolognese, Modena, Molsheim, Crewe, Goodwood, Gaydon, and Woking. This is where vehicles are made that cannot be transported the way ordinary cars are. In this guide we describe what factory pickup from manufacturing locations looks like, and what details Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin transport across Europe must meet.
Factory pickup directly from production
A client who orders a Ferrari directly in Maranello often wants to take possession of the vehicle as part of the factory experience. That means the car comes off the line, passes inspections, and is loaded into our enclosed truck on the same property. The same scenario applies to Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Maserati and Pagani in Modena, Bugatti in Molsheim, Bentley in Crewe, Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, Aston Martin in Gaydon, and McLaren in Woking.
Our drivers know the processes at each of these locations. They know which entrance to use, how to coordinate the pickup time with the production coordinator, and what documents the vehicle must have when leaving the premises. For the client, this means the car leaves production in the same condition in which it came off the line.
The premium corridor London Maranello Monaco Geneva
The most frequent route in the premium car segment connects Great Britain, Italy, Monaco, and Switzerland. We operate this premium corridor with drivers who have hundreds of transports in this segment behind them. The route is optimized in terms of safety stops, overnight parking in secure facilities, and coordination of border crossings, including UK after Brexit.
Specifics of carbon, wings, and splitters
A modern supercar has aerodynamic elements often made of exposed carbon. The wing of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the splitter of the Lamborghini Huracán STO, or the diffuser of the McLaren 765LT are not decoration. They are structural elements, and each has a precisely defined access point for handling.
A carbon component cannot be gripped just anywhere. Soft straps must not touch a carbon panel; the splitter must not be in contact with the ramp during loading. Our drivers work exclusively with soft straps at chassis points, the points designed structurally for securing. No strap ever runs across the rims, across a carbon panel, or across an aerodynamic element.
Low chassis and approach angle
Supercars have low ground clearance. The Ferrari 488 Pista, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, or Aston Martin Valkyrie have approach angles that an ordinary ramp cannot accommodate. Our enclosed trucks are equipped with low-angle ramps, often with telescopic segments that minimize the approach angle. When in doubt, we use additional wooden ramps or rubber strips so the splitter does not come into contact with the floor.
Before loading, an inspection of height, geometry, and chassis takes place. The driver always consults with the owner or seller about whether the vehicle has the front-axle lift system engaged, if equipped, and in which position.
Air-ride suspension and shock absorption
A trip across Europe involves road surfaces of various quality. Italian highways, French motorways, Swiss mountain roads, and British motorways behave differently. Our enclosed trucks have air-ride suspension that absorbs impacts from unevenness and ensures the vehicle does not experience shocks during the route that could affect calibration, brake discs, or aerodynamic components.
Air-ride suspension is especially important for the Lamborghini Sián, Pagani Huayra, or Bugatti Chiron, where every detail of the carbon chassis requires smooth transport without secondary vibrations.
Supplementary insurance for higher values
CMR insurance is the international standard for road transport of goods. For supercars with higher value, we offer supplementary insurance that covers the real market price of the vehicle. We address the specific scope individually before the order. For limited editions, unique pieces, or factory-fresh vehicles from exclusive personalization programs, supplementary insurance is a standard part of the agreement.
Drivers with proven experience
Not every driver can transport a Ferrari LaFerrari or a Pagani Utopia. Our drivers who work on the premium corridors have dozens of transports in this segment behind them, command both English and Italian terminology for coordination with factory teams, and are trained on handling with active stabilization systems, magnetorheological dampers, and modes specific to particular vehicles.
Logistics and timing
For standard EU routes we plan 3 to 5 days. For premium vehicles, especially from factory pickup, we recommend a 10 day lead time so we can align the optimal route, a driver with relevant experience, and the conditions for timing the pickup directly with the manufacturer. Express transport under 72 hours is possible in specific cases, especially for events and auto shows.
Live GPS tracking allows the client to follow every stop on the route. 24/7 dispatch handles any unforeseen moment, from traffic to coordination of delivery at the destination, including Monaco, where arrival logistics are specific.
Frequently asked questions
Which manufacturing locations do you serve for factory pickup?
We regularly work with Maranello (Ferrari), Sant'Agata Bolognese (Lamborghini), Modena (Maserati, Pagani), Molsheim (Bugatti), Crewe (Bentley), Goodwood (Rolls-Royce), Gaydon (Aston Martin), and Woking (McLaren). We can arrange pickup at other locations on an individual basis.
How does transport handle carbon aero components?
Soft straps are applied exclusively to chassis points, never to a carbon panel, splitter, or wing. When in doubt about handling, the driver consults with the factory team or the owner. Carbon must not come into contact with securing material.
Does CMR insurance cover a higher-value vehicle?
CMR covers the basic standard. For higher values we recommend supplementary insurance set individually based on the type of vehicle. We will prepare specific terms after receiving the order and verifying the real value of the vehicle.
Is factory pickup possible on the day the vehicle comes off the line?
In many cases yes; it depends on coordination with the manufacturer's production team. We recommend a minimum 10 day lead time to align the pickup time with the vehicle's completion and the manufacturer's internal inspections.
